Butterfly Security is now in the Okta Integration Network

One-click install. OIDC single sign-on, SCIM provisioning, and entitlement management for Butterfly Security — directly from your Okta Admin Console.

What ships in this listing

Single Sign-On (OIDC)

Your team signs into Butterfly Security through Okta. Domain-based detection redirects users to your authorization server automatically. JIT provisioning on first login.

SCIM 2.0 Provisioning

Create, update, and deactivate Butterfly users automatically as your Okta directory changes. Uses standard SCIM 2.0 with bearer-token authentication.

Role-Based Entitlements

Five built-in Butterfly roles (super_admin, admin, backup_operator, auditor, read_only) exposed as SCIM entitlements for governance-driven access assignment.

Entitlement Management ready

Map Butterfly roles to entitlements in Okta Identity Governance. Drive role assignment via access requests, certifications, or automated provisioning policies.

Why this matters

The Okta Integration Network is the catalog Okta administrators browse when they evaluate a product. A listing tells them that the integration has gone through Okta's submission and review process and is safe to install in their org.

For Butterfly Security customers, the practical change is simple: SSO and provisioning are no longer something your IT team has to wire up by hand. Add Butterfly from the catalog, paste a token, and your directory becomes the source of truth for who has access.

For prospects, it removes the “does this work with our identity stack?” question entirely. It does, by design.

What’s next

Universal Logout will follow in a near-term release. Microsoft Entra ID and Google Workspace are in joint review with their respective providers, on track for the same one-click install experience.
